When Death Does You Part
A Biblically Informed Guide through Widowhood and Remarriage
Richard Kenneth Burton & Debra Ann Shattuck Burton

C. Richard Wells, Former President, Criswell College
Rare indeed is the book that combines thorough practicality with genuinely biblical authority. Rarer still such a book by authors who have walked the walk. But Richard Burton and Deb Shattuck Burton have done just that.
Jim Daly, President, Focus on the Family
Richard and Debra are […] intimately acquainted with the comfort God extends. Through their stories, you’ll learn how to lean on Christ, navigate the practical aspects of widowhood, and open your heart to the possibility of remarriage.
Dr. Elias Diaz, Pastor-Teacher, Grace Church of the Black Hills
This book provides an emotional but compelling glimpse into the lives of two believers who have walked the shadowy valleys of death in bereavement but who have also traversed the prized mountaintops of joy in remarriage.
Pastor Rob Ventura, Grace Community Baptist Church, North Providence, RI
As a pastor, I am always on the lookout for biblically sound resources for my congregation. The Burtons’ new book on widowhood and remarriage is a truly invaluable discovery, addressing a topic rarely tackled with such depth.
